On Sunday, June 7th, we will resume services in the sanctuary. The following guidelines issued by Governor Lee will help to safeguard our FBC Family.
✔ We will conduct two morning services at 50% capacity or less (9:00 & 11:00 am). If you have not been contacted about which one you will be attending, please reach out to the Church Office. Online videos will still be available for those unable to attend. As of now, there will be no Sunday School, evening or Wednesday night services.
✔ Masks are strongly recommended; we have a supply of masks for those who do not have one.
✔ Hand Sanitizer is available and we encourage you to use it as often as needed.
✔ Entrances and exits must be separate. We will enter ONLY on the North side of the building under the canopy. The exit will be out the back of the building, making it a little easier for those who park on the South side to get to their vehicle.
✔ Social distancing, while it may seem odd and uncomfortable, must be maintained. It is imperative that you refrain from the usual hugs and handshakes. Some rows of chairs will be taped off, please do not remove the tape. Families who live in the same household are encouraged to sit together. You must maintain at least 6 feet (two chairs) separation from those not in your household. Ushers will assist with seating as required.
✔ Restrooms, because of cleaning requirements, are for emergency use. We will have a can of spray sanitizer in each of them. Before leaving the restroom please spray the commode, stall door and handles, sink area, light switch, and the restroom door handle.
✔ Hymnals and Pew Bibles will not be available. Song lyrics will be displayed on the overhead screens. You are encouraged to bring your own Bible.
✔ The building will be sanitized before each service.
✔ Tithes and Offerings, we will have plates on pedestals in the foyer before and after the service. E-giving is strongly encouraged. More info...
✔ We will not be using bulletins.
✔ Body temperature of church staff and volunteers will be checked using a no-contact thermometer.
✔ While we want everyone to return, we also want you to remain well. If you are a senior adult with underlying medical issues or are immunocompromised, we encourage you to stay home a little while longer. If you are sick or have a fever please do not attend until you are well. If you have been around anyone with COVID-19 please stay home and quarantine for the appropriate time.
